Andrew T. Shilling
Andrew graduated from the College of William & Mary in 1988, and is a 1991 graduate of the University of Richmond Law School. Mr. Shilling has received an AV (Preeminent) rating from his peers, representing the highest possible rating in both legal ability and ethical standards. He has been selected as a Member of the Nation's Top One Percent by the National Association of Distinguished Counsel, an organization dedicated to promoting the highest standards of legal excellence. He was previously employed by the two largest firms in Virginia, where he handled complex civil litigation in both the state and federal courts. His diverse practice includes criminal and civil litigation, family law and estate planning. Mr. Shilling is licensed to practice in Virginia and North Carolina. In addition to regular appearances in the trial courts of both states, he has handled cases in the Virginia Supreme Court, Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals, and The United States Supreme Court. He also serves as primary counsel to numerous local businesses and corporations.
